Both the phones are powered by Android 11 topped with MIUI 12. The Poco X3 pro comes with the Poco launcher which it claims is ad-free stock Android firmware. At one time, the Redmi Note’s UI was laden with ads but recent times have seen their number come down, so as to be hardly noticeable. The overall interface experience on the two devices is largely the same for most users. Thanks to a more powerful processor, the Poco X3 Pro feels snappier, prompt, almost as if the phone is always on its feet to get your daily chores underway. Do not get us wrong, the Redmi Note is very quick but the difference in speed comes forth when it is compared with the Poco X3 Pro. That said, the Note 10 Pro Max’s display wins it some brownie points as it would make for a better binge-watching partner as compared to the Poco X3 Pro.
Xiaomi includes a 33-watt fast charger, a USB-C cable (Type-A to C), a SIM eject tool, a protective case, a user manual, and a warranty card with the Poco X3 Pro. The manufacturer doesn’t offer any special accessories for the smartphone.

If the model number is not available, they can check its specifications. Likewise, owing to Android’s open-source ecosystem, users generally try out a plethora of tweaks and customizations. And if they end up messing up even a single step, it will straight away lead to a bricked or boot-looped device. Well, all you have to do is just flash the stock firmware onto your Xiaomi device and your device will be back to normal working condition.
The chassis on the back has been changed somewhat to have a more matte-feel on the sides, but it still feels more or less like the X3 NFC when you’re holding it. I do have one problem with respect to the software, though — it’s very aggressive with RAM management. In order to save resources, it quite frequently kills open apps, making them reload even if you go back to them just a few minutes later. For a phone that’s all about performance and gaming, this isn’t a great look. Undoubtedly, it makes browsing through the interface a breeze and gaming really responsive. Just make sure to dump the pre-applied screen protector if you want your fingers to glide. I loved the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC when reviewing it, the Poco X3 Pro simply ups the power while retaining almost all of the same DNA.

The 5,120mAh battery lasts an entire day and then some more. However, at least it’s not quite as bad as the ‘Dare to Leap’ slogan etched into some Realme rivals. A brand name is one thing, but a Facebook-grade inspirational quote? The interface isn’t our personal favorite, but we could still get used to it with time. This is of course a subjective opinion and your preferences and choices may understandably differ.
